Dies ist ein neues Pievox Produkt
    zum Ersatz und zur Verbesserung der Geräte.

Nachentwicklung und Verbesserung der Anzeigeschaltung für PR99 MKI , MKII und   MKIII

Eventuell ist es ihnen auch schon aufgefallen,
- die VU Meter Anzeige Calibrierung ist bei der PR99 temperaturabhängig
- Die Anzeige unter -3dB ist recht ungenau
- Die Justage der Peak LED ist ....-  ein Geduldspiel und auch temperaturabhängig

Die PR99 ist es als Semiprofigerät wert, daß diese Scharten ausgewetzt werden
zumal durch die vorbereiten Module und Kabel der Aufwand begrenzt ist.

Eingebaut wird eine Zusatzplatine, die die nötige Trennung und Anpassung bewirkt.
Ziel war dabei:
- Die Potis am Platinenrand behalten ihre originale Funktion.
- Es ist kein Neuabgleich des gesamten Verstärkerzuges erforderlich.

    - Für die konsequent getrennte Einstellung von VU und Peak-Indicator
    - Langzeitstabil und unabhängig  von der Temperatur
    - VU meter Anzeige genau bis -20dB

Development and improvement  of the display circuit for PR99 MKI, MKII and MKIII

It may be noticed, however,
- the VU Meter Display Calibration is dependent on the PR99 temperature
- The display below -3dB is quite inaccurate
- The adjustment of the peak LED is .... - a patience and also temperature-dependent

The PR99 is worth it as a semiprofessional Revox ,
that these issues are cured by small invest on work , modules and cables .

An additional board is installed
which provides the necessary separation and adaptation.

   
The goal was:
- The potentiometers on the circuit board retain their original function.
- No new adjustment of the entire amplifier train is required.
- The temperature sensitivity is eliminated

    - consistently separate setting of VU and peak indicator
    - Long-term stable and independent of temperature
    - VU meter pointer is now accurate + 3dB to -20dB

Sometimes the IIT relays have bad contact
Which can be seen as a noise on the output line or as a pointer deflection of the VU meter on power up 
 A replacement for these relays is also available .
